Welcome to the 21st century Mr. S! haha
Please read and join me on the educational app. Seasaw! To view all of the grade 3 Superstar's work! They are doing so many wonderful things in class. I wanted to share them with the parent community as well. :)
PUBLIC SPEAKING IS AWESOME!!!!!
Do you like doing presentations infront of our class? Are you interested in becoming even better at Public Speaking? Why not take a class to become a public speaking superstar? The benefits of public speaking are not only important for grade 3 but also will help you communicate with friends and other people through out the rest of your life.
My apologies grade 3 Superstars, I did not realize that the links had a 'payment' section and therefore are not FREE! LOL. I have the next best thing... A 'profesionally' trained Master in the Ancient Art of Public Speaking!!!! Her name is Krystal and she works at the Stittsville Ottawa Public Library Branch. I have asked her to visit our class to help us to learn more strategies to become better public speakers! Also, let us all know where we can practice and continue to learn about public speaking outside of school. She is super friendly and we will be able to learn so much from her. :)
Homework Assignment April 20th 2018
1. Show Mr. S's Invitation to Seasaw to your mom and dad.
- I would like to stop using Weebly to post homework and move over to Seesaw. It is sooooooooooo Good!
2. Finish your letter to your pen pal in Google Docs in Mr. Lee's Grade 3 class at St. Michael Corkery.
- Read your letter atleast once out loud to yourself. How does it sound? If there are breaks and it sounds 'choppy' you need to fix the grammatical errors in your sentences. It is supposed to sound 'smooth' like when we read our novel study!
-Have you answered all of your pen pals questions? Did you go into enough detail?
- How many questions have you asked your friend?
3. Show your mom/dad letter to Penpal. Have you read it out loud...
I have copied the rubric onto my site just in case one of my superstars forgot their sheet at school...
